A quick and honest take
A lovely stay in a cottage with stunning river views. The friendly staff were a highlight, dealing quickly with our request for an extra key. Watching the bunnies and birds on the grounds added a delightful touch. The restaurant on site served fantastic meals, making our experience even better.

missingWrote a review on 30 Octpoor maintenance
The indoor pool and spa seemed like they had seen better days, creating a somewhat eerie atmosphere. The workout area was entirely non-functional and cluttered with storage items. Wi-fi only worked if you wandered outside towards the road, which was inconvenient. The room offered minimal amenities with limited ventilation and uncomfortable beds that felt smaller than expected. Shower water pressure lacked significantly, and the bathroom showed signs of neglect with rust and mildew. There were also issues with miscommunication regarding dinner reservations. menu items were inconsistent, to say the least.

It was just a proper fit for a trip in Liscomb with attractive and competitive value for money. The surrounding area is fantastic for wildlife watching, with plenty of birds to see. Bring extra hangers for your clothes.

Family with children paradise
I can't believe how cozy the room was, especially overlooking the water! The deck was perfect for my family to just kick back and soak in the fine scenery.
It wasn't cheap, but I found it acceptable considering the views and amenities.

We had an enjoyable time at the lodge with our teenage daughter, especially taking canoes out on the river. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony, giving us beautiful views. The Sunday buffet was also a hit with the family.
In my wife’s opinion, the front desk could use more staff during events.

missingWrote a review on 10 Septgorgeous viewdelicious breakfastcold foodpoor hiking mapslow service
The chalet offered a stunning view of the river, enhancing the cozy atmosphere. Breakfast, although not included, featured delicious homemade bread and plenty of options to choose from. However, the hot food at the evening buffet was cold, and the hiking map provided was confusing, leading to a turn back during our hike. The service was friendly but noticeably slow, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
